A free concert at the heart of Toronto brings 35,000 neighbours together to raise millions for the hospitals that care for all of us.
Next Saturday, Nathan Phillips Square will belong to all of us. On June 6, 2026, the inaugural TOgether for Toronto event invites all Torontonians – residents, neighbours, newcomers and lifelong locals alike – to gather in the open air for a day that is equal parts celebration, community pride, and genuine generosity. Best of all, it costs nothing to attend. No ticket required. Just show up.
Presented by Fitzrovia and powered by MRG Live, TOgether is designed to feel less like a traditional fundraiser and more like the kind of spontaneous summer day you'll tell people about for years. Daytime programming from noon to 4 p.m. fills the square with wellness activities before the evening concert kicks off at 4:30 p.m. The musical lineup that follows is nothing short of exceptional – and unmistakably, boldly Canadian.
Paul Langlois of The Tragically Hip opens the evening – a figure whose place in the Canadian rock canon needs no introduction. Broken Social Scene, the beloved Toronto indie collective, follow with the kind of high-energy communal performance that has made them one of the city's defining musical exports. Grammy Award-winner Alessia Cara brings her singular down-to-earth brilliance to her home province’s stage, and multi-JUNO Award winner Feist closes out the night.
The cause at the heart of the day is just as compelling as the lineup. TOgether has set an ambitious goal of raising over $2 million in support of two institutions that represent the very best of Toronto's healthcare system: University Health Network, recently ranked the second-best hospital in the world, and Michael Garron Hospital, the East Toronto anchor known for its compassionate, community-first approach to care.
For those who want to do more than attend, the TOgether Sweepstakes offers a chance to win over $75,000 in prizes – a 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona, courtside Raptors tickets with player-signed jerseys, a VIP Blue Jays experience, and tickets to Alex Warren at the RBC Amphitheatre this summer. Every entry directly funds patient care and research at UHN and Michael Garron. Entries are open at www.togethercontest.ca through June 9.
We at Fitzrovia are clear that this is not a one-time gesture – TOgether is intended as an annual tradition. A fixture on the Toronto calendar. The kind of event that reminds a city of its own character: generous, creative, multicultural, and deeply proud of the institutions and people that hold it together.
We hope to see you there. Saturday, June 6th. Nathan Phillips Square. Free admission, no tickets required.
